  Following a meeting to rationalise my finances I was informed that the bank were unable to assist me due to my credit score. 1 week later I obtained credit at a very favourable rate from an external provider; so the bank seem keen to keep accepting over £100 interest per month on an overdraft rather than sorting it out in a sane and efficient manner. This is also the first RBS where I have experienced the phone being picked up and put immediately down after ringing for a prolonged period. Very poor. As a customer of more than 28 years with RBS - I think I can safely say I will be changing back asap.
